About
The Job

Digital marketing is an exciting but competitive field. With many of us now spending half our lives on the internet, people that can use insights and create engaging content for others to consume, are highly valuable. But what’s going to set you apart from the crowd of people wanting to get into this area? We think on-the-job experience in an exciting up-and-coming agency is a good start!

COUCH Health is a global creative health engagement agency based in Manchester city centre. And we’re working with Manchester Metropolitan University to recruit a Digital Marketing Apprentice to come and join us. We’re growing fast and we’re always keen to recruit people with a fresh perspective, and at the same time, give people their first foot-in-the-door. As well as having a full-time job that gives paid time off to attend classes and experience in the agency life, you’ll gain a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing. It’s a no brainer!

Want to know a little more about COUCH Health? Then come and see us at MMU’s Degree Apprenticeship Open Evening and Jobs Fair on 14th March. Maybe give us a Google, too. But enough about us, we want to hear about you.

Your role

There are just a few boxes we need to tick. You’ll need to have achieved or exceeded MMU’s minimum qualification criteria — 104 UCAS Points or BBC grades at A Level — and obviously be interested in all things digital marketing. Some other skills that we’d need from our apprentice include:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage your daily duties and personal admin
  • The ability to apply the marketing principles and theory you learn in lectures to your work
  • Understanding of the role of online audiences and how to communicate with them
  • A love for content marketing
  • The drive to plan, manage, and analyse digital projects
  • Skills to ensure that the COUCH voice is maintained in all our communications
  • Knowledge of paid and organic digital marketing approaches

About you

We want you to fit right into the team, too. So if the below describes you, we’re almost there:

  • A positive, proactive attitude is a must — we get things done, and have fun doing it.
  • You’ve got to be a team player — we help each other out wherever we can.
  • You’re not afraid to come up with ideas — the best ideas can come from anywhere and anyone, and we want to hear yours!
  • Kind and generous — with your time, your behaviour, and your compassion.
  • A good listener and a brave voice — we’re here to help you, so make sure to listen, but don’t be afraid to speak up either because your input is important to us.
  • You’ll need an eye for detail and to take pride in being thorough in everything you do — we pride ourselves on the quality of our work.

This is a great opportunity to join a team that builds people up to do great things for themselves and others. Interested? Great! Get your CV and a cover letter over to us ASAP at: careers@couchhealth.agency
