We are continuing to grow, and as such, we’re looking for someone to join our team as a Junior Medical Writer.
At COUCH, we contribute to diverse recruitment into clinical trials through the development and delivery of patient and HCP-focused communications materials across whichever media is most appropriate and accessible to our intended audience: from digital – websites and social media campaigns to printed materials, podcasts, and anything in-between.
Reporting directly to our Director of Editorial, this role will see you draw on your scientific background, collaborate with teams across the business, and produce copy that engages with audiences including HCPs and patients from various cultures and backgrounds all over the world.
You’ll have knowledge of clinical study designs, clinical data, and the overall drug development process to assist you with understanding clinical trial protocols and reports required for material development. You should be able to understand and articulate scientific concepts to generate engaging and digestible content and can tailor your writing style to meet the needs of different audiences. The work you produce will convey accurate, transparent and trustworthy information, in some cases helping individuals access potentially innovative new treatments, in all cases contributing to making clinical trial research accessible to anyone who may benefit from participating.
Our Editorial team is responsible for ensuring that our messaging is clear and compelling. You’ll be involved in every step of the process to ensure this is the case.
You’ll work closely with our Community Engagement and Research and Insights teams to understand the lived experiences of the people you’re working to connect with, and, as part of the COUCH Health Team, will work towards the shared goal of making clinical trials more diverse, inclusive and accessible. You’ll be a passionate communicator, qualified with at least an undergraduate degree in a scientific subject. You’ll be genuinely excited to develop your knowledge across a range of therapeutic areas, considering the science, the condition, and the impact that it has on people’s lives.
