COUCH Health is a purpose-driven creative health engagement agency.

Our clients partner with us to improve the representation of patients in clinical trials so that trial populations reflect those that will ultimately benefit from a treatment. We achieve this through our commitment to Community Engagement, Research & Insights, effective Patient Recruitment and Retention, and Diversity and Inclusivity Consulting.

We are continuing to grow, and as such, we’re looking for someone to join our team in a Patient Outreach capacity.

At COUCH we contribute to diverse recruitment into clinical trials through development and delivery of patient and HCP focused communications materials across whichever media is most appropriate and accessible to our intended audience: from digital – websites and social media campaigns, through to printed materials, podcasts, and anything in-between.

Reporting directly to our CEO as we grow our Patient Outreach team, this role collaborates with teams across the business.

Our Research and Insights team works to understand the experiences and needs of people from diverse backgrounds in relation to their health and healthcare, pulling information and insights together to inform the work that we do strategically and creatively.

In order to do this, they need to speak with people with specific characteristics and experiences. Working with the R&I team, this role focuses on finding and engaging with those people, inviting them to speak with our team in focus groups or one to one interviews. Our work is global, and so you’ll adapt your style to appropriately contact people from all cultures.

You’ll be a natural investigator! Able to use digital tools and networks to find and make contact with individuals from specific backgrounds. You’ll collaborate proactively with our Community Engagement team to gain introductions to groups of people we already have relationships with. You’ll scour maps, directories and databases to identify ways to find the people that we’re looking for. You’ll draw on your natural people-skills to build relationships really quickly, and your organisational skills to keep track of who you’ve contacted and the status of the relationship.

You’ll communicate really openly about your progress, and build strong internal relationships with the close-knit team of which you become a part.

In your application for this role, please demonstrate: 

  • That you have experience of developing professional relationships quickly and effectively
  • That you are culturally sensitive and able to adapt your approach
  • That you are highly organised and able to be persistent and self-starting with your work
  • Some experience of ‘head-hunting’ or ‘resourcing’
